Martino is a Civil Engineer with a background in sustainable construction, enriched by a two-year specialized diploma, Erasmus experiences in Poland and Scotland, and numerous internships in construction companies. He has worked as a Site Manager for environmental green works and as an employee in the innovation area for the development of new business models in the construction world. Currently, he serves as the building commissioner for the municipalities of Dro and Drena in the Trento province.

Joining Eurac Research in 2019, Martino focuses on developing technologies for the building envelope, emphasizing a circular and sustainable approach, bio-based components, and materials. His work revolves around Life Cycle and End of Life approaches. Martino advocates for alternative mobility, digitalization for user service, sustainable construction in all its aspects, and the urgent need for a change of course in the fight against climate change.
