After some practice in civil engineering offices in the Bergamo area, Alessio graduated in Construction Engineering at the University of Bergamo. In 2013, he moved to Bolzano as a Researcher at the Institute for Renewable Energy of Eurac Research dealing with retrofit solutions for buildings facades. Among his research projects there is the development of an HVAC-integrated facade unit (concept + prototype) in collaboration with Pichler Projects (formerly Stahlbau Pichler), based in Bolzano.

In 2017, Alessio joined the company Pichler Projects as a Façade Design Manager. He has dealt with the design of facades and steel structures since then, from concept development to executive design.
